welcome to the websites of the Moravian-Silesian Sinfonietta, a symphony orchestra that has begun its 12th concert season 2022/2023this year.
The orchestra was established in 2011 as an orchestral academy in Řepiště, near Frýdek-Místek. The mission of the orchestra lies in preparing players for professional career in philharmonic, theatre and other orchestras, and for participation in interesting projects. Several dozen important opera singers cooperate with the Moravian-Silesian Sinfonietta, including Liana Sass, Anna Butkiewicz, Veronika Rovná Holbová, Eliška Weissová, Erika Šporerová, Gabriela Mikova-Johnson, Anna Nitrová, Oldřiška Honsová, Mario Zhang, Jakub Kettner, and others. Also the soloists Pavel Doležal (violin), Petr Grabovský (violin), Petra Olajcová (piccolo), Lenka Schichová (flute), Táňa Wajs (pop singing), Daniel Jun (piano), Lenka Korbelová (piano), Anežka Gebauerová (accordion) and Lukáš Kolek (saxophone) performed with the Moravian-Silesian Sinfonietta. The orchestra also cooperates with choirs such as Chorus Ostrava, Sbor přátel zpěvu Permoník Karviná, Lučinka, Meandry and Sirény of the Basic school of art of Bohuslav Martinů in Havířov. In 2013, the orchestra shot a flash mob in the shopping centre Forum Nová Karolina, was invited to perform at the Gala concert to celebrate 750 years of the town of Paskov, accompanied Tereza Mašková and Vojtěch Michalíček at the award ceremony Sportsperson of the Year of the Moravian-Silesian region 2019 in Gong, and at the same year the orchestra cooperated with DJ Adams.
